Shoot day is coming up! Follow this checklist we've put together to make sure everything is perfect.
1 Week Before
- [ ] Try on and iron your outfits
- [ ] Break in your shoes at home — new shoes can hurt
- [ ] Prepare your accessories (veil, tiara, cufflinks, tie, etc.)
- [ ] Check the weather forecast
- [ ] Go over the final details with your photographer
- [ ] Confirm your makeup artist appointment
- [ ] Finalize your transportation plan
1 Day Before
- [ ] Go to bed early — especially for morning shoots
- [ ] Hang your outfits up so they don't wrinkle
- [ ] Pack your accessories into a bag
- [ ] Charge your phone
- [ ] Prepare comfortable walking shoes
- [ ] Prepare water and snacks
- [ ] Sunscreen (matte formula) and lip balm
Shoot Morning
- [ ] Have a light breakfast
- [ ] Hair and makeup — start at the time agreed with your photographer
- [ ] Finish your makeup before putting on your outfit
- [ ] Don't forget your perfume (scent won't show in photos, but it'll help you feel your best!)
- [ ] Relax — smile — this is your day!
Outfit Recommendations
Bride
- Color: White, cream, champagne, blush
- Fabric: Tulle, chiffon, lace — fabrics that move in the wind look stunning
- Length: Long-train gowns look amazing in Cappadocia
- Alternative: Also bring a second, shorter dress or a jumpsuit
Groom
